Refer someone who subsequently joins ACDA and we will thank you both!
Here’s how it works:
- A current ACDA member identifies colleagues or students who would make good ACDA members.
- The member invites them to join ACDA. We encourage use of a copy of the special membership form to do so. The referring member writes their name and ACDA membership number on the form, as well as adding in a personal encouragement. Just something like “I hope you’ll consider this,” or “Call me if you’d like to talk about membership” goes a long way.
- The referred colleague decides whether to take the next step. If they decide to join, they can use the printed membership form , or join online and notify the national office about the referral via an email to membership@acda.org.
- Success? We thank both parties! If someone joins ACDA as a new Active, Student, or Associate member and mentions the referring member’s name and membership number when they join, we’ll thank both of them with a playlist of performances from the 2019 ACDA national conference.
