Position Description: Music Director
St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, Boulder, Colorado is searching for a part-time Music
Director to serve on our staff team.
St. Aidan’s Music Director will love many genres of music and understand music as a
means of grace that supports the congregation in praising God and giving voice to both
joy and lament, leading the Choir, in Collaboration with church staff and parishioners,
and advocating for great music and St. Aidan’s presence in the music community in
Boulder.
This position includes leadership of a volunteer choir, collaboration with community
music partners and St. Aidan’s Clergy and Staff team, some production of online music,
and managing copyright permissions for live and online music.
This is a year round position, with lighter duties in the summer, that starts at an Annual
Compensation of $21,000 and a small budget for continuing education ($300). No other
benefits are provided, and schedule is flexible outside of Sunday mornings, weekly Choir
Rehearsals, and Staff Meetings.
