Foothills Community Choir (fka Rhythm of Life Community Chorus) is seeking a new Music Director! We are looking for a leader who will guide us forward as we come back together after a year of virtual rehearsals and concerts. Foothills Community Choir is a non-audition choir based in Wheat Ridge with the goal of community enrichment. We work to create an environment of joy, laughter and fun, while maintaining our credo of respect and inclusiveness. FCC strives to develop choral excellence within our supportive and nurturing community environment.

Responsibilities for this position include:
-Conducting at least two concert sessions per year, with concerts typically in December and April
-Selecting all repertoire
-Leading weekly rehearsals
-Serving on the board of directors and attending monthly meetings
-Participating in new member recruitment
Qualifications:
-Minimum Bachelor’s degree in music
We anticipate our Fall session to begin September 14th, with rehearsals on Tuesday evenings in Wheat Ridge. Tentative concert date is December 5th. Compensation is $90/call, with a minimum of 15 calls per season.
