Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church PC(USA) is looking for a warm and dynamic part-time bell and choir conductor.
Experience
We seek someone with experience leading bell and singing choirs to join our worship team. This role will work primarily with amateur musicians and singers, so the ability to teach participants of varying skill levels is required. We are looking for a conductor who loves to encourage and help lay people grow in music.
Responsibilities
- Prepare choral choir to sing in church on two Sundays a month
- Prepare bell choir to play in church one Sunday a month
- Lead Wednesday evening bell and choir rehearsals (2.5 hours per week)
- Lead warm-ups before Sunday morning worship (2.5 hours per week)
- Work with the Worship Leader to determine Sunday morning song/hymn choices
Position Details
- 5 hours/week
- $250/wk ($1000/month)
- Hours and pay are negotiable dependant on candidate and experience
