You are cordially invited to an evening of choral music with the Pomona College Glee Club on Thursday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. at Grace and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 631 N Tejon St. in Colorado Springs. Directed by Professor Donna M. Di Grazia, the 34-member ensemble—Pomona College’s select chamber choir—will present a program of unaccompanied choral music spanning the Renaissance to the present day. The concert highlights works by Ethel Smyth, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Clara Schumann, Caroline Shaw, Lucy Walker, Reena Esmail, Arvo Pärt, and John Tavener, alongside additional choral repertoire from a range of musical traditions. Known for its refined blend, expressive nuance, and adventurous programming, the Pomona College Glee Club brings together auditioned singers from across the Claremont Colleges for performances of depth, precision, and emotional resonance. Tickets are $25 and available at the door. Additional information is available at pomona.edu/glee-tour.
