“Raisins and Almonds: A Tu B’Shvat Celebration” resumes with a live and live-streamed performance by the Colorado Hebrew Chorale’s two choirs and special guests, Altitude, the Denver Children’s Choir’s premier mixed-voice high school ensemble.  The event, which takes place on Sunday evening, Feb. 5, 2023, at the Hebrew Educational Alliance, 3600 South Ivanhoe Street, Denver, CO 80237, will also honor Colorado State Representative Dafna Michaelson Jenet, herself a one-time member of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale.  The musical focus of  “Raisins and Almonds” spans four centuries and five languages, also includes a new work, Veshuv (“And Again”) one of the haunting poems penned by Leah Goldberg (1911-1970) , and set for women’s voices by Denver composer Nili Abrahamsson.  Information : (303)355-0232, https://www.coloradohebrewchorale.org/events/ra2023/
